Brakes System Lead Engineer

Job Profile
- The Senior Brake & Air Supply System Engineer will be in charge of the definition, verification and validation of brake and air supply systems on the train.
- During the Bid & Start Up phase, the System Engineer shall define the System & Performance Requirements, interfaces and the functional specification.
- The System Engineer shall define the System Requirements which include the following:
- Environmental features (local area, climatic),
- Operational Interface (mechanical, electrical, software),
- Architecture, configurations, dimensional characteristics (gauge, weight, volume, etc.)
- Performance (crash, shock & vibration, noise, EMC, aerodynamic, thermal, constructional, brake, air supply, aesthetics, reliability, availability, safety, etc.)
- Functional Specification (functional analysis, operating modes, nominal, degraded, events, alarms, etc.)

Lead Safety Engineer

- Product Safety expert within the Australian Core Engineering organisation. Design, deliver, maintain and assure Product Safety programs that are compliant with applicable State and National Legislation and Bombardier policy across Australia projects. TCMS Comissioning Engineer-Rail

Key responsibilites include
- Support with train testing when introducing the Train Control and Management System software into the UK projects, in particular shift work to support the type testing program for the LOTRAIN project. Whilst on train, investigate issues raised and document findings in the defect database in collaboration with other commissioning engineers.

DOORS System Engineer-Rail

The electronic/electrical engineer is part of the door system development team and is responsible for the Door Controllers (DCP, DCRP, and MDC) used on the R179, BART, and BiLevel projects and door system electrical integration in the train. The mandate involves maintaining the door system electronic components, like the I/O interface board, the current loop interface for the car and train lines, the main processing board, and the CAN bus interface card.
