Job Description
- Audit and update work instructions at various plants
- Audit and upgrade workstation bill of materials
- Improve material handling methods
- Perform time studies
- Line balance assembly processes
- Assist with new product introductions
- Provide technical support to the assemblers
- Provide input for assembly tools and fixtures
- Assist with plant layout and workstation design
- Learn and use ERP manufacturing software
- Solve assembler ergonomic issues
- All other duties or projects as assigned
- Learn Product launches, line set-ups rebalances and build-outs
- Learn to create station layouts and complete work instructions
Primary Skills
Time Study, Process Planning, Standardized Work, Value Stream Mapping, Line Balancing, Facility Design & Planning, Tooling, JDE experience is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Secondary Skills
Exposure to fabrication, welding and assembly operations, Strong communication skills are essential
Any specific industry experience
Heavy machine industry experience is preferred
Education
Bachelor of Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering
