Say hello to Tomás Lucero, our budding project engineer based out of Munich. When Tomas is done with delivering excellence to our clients, you can find him on a Tennis court, racketing pacers to his opponents. So, how does Tomas find the balance between work and play, let’s find out!
What do you do at LTTS?
I work as a Project Engineer at LTTS Speech System Validation for one of the world biggest automotive companies, based in Munich. To put it simply, I am responsible for testing car infotainment systems for Spanish Language. I make sure that the system understands the language to deliver superior customer experience.
What's your 'thing' beyond work?
Beyond my work, I play Tennis. I started about 2 years ago. I feel I should have started young, because tennis requires a lot of technique. But, I am someone who believes that nothing is impossible and I think I have got decently good at the sport. My father was a nationally ranked tennis player throughout his childhood and he used to remind me of going to the court with him. This also gave me the motivation to start this beautiful sport that is tennis. You could say that I wanted to see if the talent was in the blood."
How do you balance between deliveries and the sport you are passionate about?
"You see, you have to conquer your mind first. I get up very early in the morning every day, around 5:30 am. Read a book, meditate and get ready for work. Thanks to the flexible work policy at LTTS, I start early at work, which allows me to leave early and make time for the sport I love. That's how I find the balance and this routine has made me more disciplined so I can bring my best to work every day."
