Bhupendra Bhate is Chief Innovation Officer at L&T Technology Services. He has around 34 years of experience in the engineering field. He is a member of the senior management team at L&T Technology Services, tasked with the responsibility of building a sustainable innovation practoce as well as formulating strategic vision and planning. In his current role, Bhupendra oversees the innovation function and works closely with the CTO's Office to incubate cutting edge technologies that can benefit end customers. In his previous role as Chief Operating Officer, Bhupendra has managed several business units with P&L responsibilities, including Industrial Products, Medical, Process Industry, Transport, Consumer, Mechanical, and the Embedded Center of Excellence. He has a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and has completed an executive business management course offered by the Harvard Business School. Bhupendra lives in Mumbai with his wife and son.
