Secure Firmware over the Air (SFOTA) updates are ideal for applications and devices that cannot be easily called in for service and maintenance. LTTS has developed a SFOTA microservice that can effortlessly deliver secured operational and configurational updates to connected devices. It uses a secure transport protocol to deliver updates, applies validation checks for file integrity and authenticity, and can implement additional security protection such as data encryption.
