Our client, a leading automotive OEM, wished to streamline the engine control system, optimize performance, and wanted assistance in developing new monitors. L&T Technology Services was on boarded to
- Support the development of a fault manager to meet the various global legislative requirements
- Assist in developing safety strategies/monitors to ensure system retains control
- Optimize and supplement engine control strategies to improve engine efficiency, productivity and fuel consumption
- Support the development of Injection timing, quantity monitors, and Multi-pulse capability, allowing additional pulses to be switched in and out, without impacting torque demands
- Assist in developing new monitors to meet the more stringent legislative demands and the development of the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filters) after treatment control strategies
