A smart embedded system controls the streetlights by detecting automobiles or other obstructions on the road. An IOT enabled Smart Lighting System (SLS) is a centralized, distributed lighting control system that is handled by several IoT communication protocols. Sensors built within the light nodes offer automated control based on the intensity of the light or the presence of humans. An SLS can be used to decrease power waste. It adjusts the on/off time based on human presence and light intensity using several sensors (motion sensors, light sensors, fog sensors, and so on) while also maintaining lower costs since defects are quickly discovered and repaired.
